Almost everything we use in our daily lives, from the food that we eat to the fuel we put into our cars, is brought to us on merchant vessels. The crews who make this possible are often at sea for many weeks with no sight of land, at the mercy of the elements, out of contact with their loved ones.
Seamen's Christian Friend Society provides spiritual, emotional and practical support to seafarers who visit our ports. Our work relies on your financial donations and bequests, as well as the items of clothing, food, toiletries and gifts you donate to us.
