The largest commercial port on the south coast of England formed at the convergance of the rivers Itchen and Test on Southampton Water, leads directly onto the Solent. This busy commercial port receives some of the largest commercial vessels and cruise ships from around the world

Liverpool commercial port was first founded in 1715 to manage the largest vessels of the day. Liverpool has a busy thriving dock that is capable of handling some of the largest vessels plying the oceans to this day. Every year 70,000,000 tonnes of cargo passes smoothly and efficiently through Liverpool's ports and terminals.
The port is served by Maritime Christian Ministries http://www.mcmuk.com and Liverpool seafarers centre http://liverpoolseafarerscentre.org who serve seafarers bring the gospel message and support to seafarers from around the world.
