Felixstowe & Ipswich

Keith Oliver [keith.oliver@scfs.org]

anon.jpgMy name is Keith Oliver. I live in Ipswich and visit the ports of Ipswich and Felixstowe in my free time because I have a full time job in the hospital as a porter with Diagnostic Imaging.

I started visiting ships in 1989. At the time I had it on my heart to bring the gospel to people behind what was then, the iron curtain because I was following the progress of Christian Mission to the Communist World (later to become Release International) through their news letter. This brought me into contact with David and Nancy Nunn who worked for this charity.

Through them the Lord opened up the way for me to start visiting ships in Ipswich and to my surprise I met people from Eastern Europe and had the opportunity to present them with the gospel in my own home town.

In 1993 I married Henriette who came from The Netherlands. Later on the Lord blessed us with a daughter called Rosa who is now 10 years old.

To keep people informed about my visits to the ports I write a news letter. This letter is sent to those who are interested and want to pray for the work.
