For many seamen there is no possibility of attending a Church Service throughout the many months at sea. Even when the ship is in port, the seamen have to carry on with their duties, often working long 12 hour shifts. Read more about How technology helps give encouragement to seamen →

In 2004 we had three Indian seafarers visit our home, one of whom was John, from Tamil Nadu and a brother in Christ.
A few weeks ago John took the time to write and tell me that since 2004 he has been onboard ships trading to Europe and has been regularly visited by Keith Oliver in Felixstowe and Martin Otto in Hamburg. Guus Peters in Antwerp sends us the following report to let us know that God is still working miracles.

John Barnard reports on an exciting visit to a ship in Grimsby:
"The crew on this coaster visiting Immingham seemed an odd mix – Russian and Indonesian with Dutch officers. I didn't think we would have long because I was told the ship would only be staying that one day. I asked where they were headed next, and I was told Grimsby. This is just up the road, so I was able to arrange a further visit the next day. Read more about Unexpected meeting of submariners →
